FLG, the Frontiers Label Group imprint dedicated to alternative and modern rock, is proud to announce the signing of Corella. The Manchester-based alt rock quartet have rapidly built a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting new acts, fuelled by their anthemic songwriting, relentless touring, and a growing fanbase that has seen them sell out venues across the country. The signing marks another step in FLG’s commitment to championing the next wave of breakthrough talent in the modern rock space.
The band commented on the signing:
“We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve officially signed with Frontiers Label Group. This is a huge step for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to join a label that shares our passion. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes on new music, and this partnership feels like the perfect launchpad for what’s coming next. We can’t wait to share this next chapter with you - see you out there!”
Leo Nicholas, Head of A&R at FLG, expressed his enthusiasm:
“I’m delighted to welcome Corella to the Frontiers Label Group family. They’re one of the most exciting new bands I’ve encountered in years - combining great songs with a relentless work ethic and a genuine connection to their audience. That’s exactly the kind of energy we strive to champion at FLG”.
“We’ve had a preview of what they’ve been creating behind the scenes, and it’s going to make a serious impact when it lands. This is just the start of a powerful new chapter for Corella, and we’re proud to be part of their journey”, he added.
Manchester’s Corella have quickly established themselves as one of the UK’s most promising new alternative acts. Formed at university by Joel (vocals), Ben (bass/vocals), Jack (guitar) and James (drums), the quartet’s friendship and shared influences in Foals, Two Door Cinema Club and classic rock translate into uplifting, hook-driven anthems and a powerful live presence.
Their debut EP “Today, Tomorrow, Whenever” (2022) and BBC Radio 1 supported single “Don’t Stop Me” built early momentum, leading to debut album “Once Upon A Weekend” with longtime collaborators Sugarhouse. The record showcased widescreen, arena-ready songs such as “Lady Messiah” and “Hometown”, balancing immediacy with emotional depth.
Now selling out UK and European tours and performing at major festivals including Reading, Latitude, Rock Werchter, Kendal Calling and Truck, Corella are primed for the next chapter, marking them as one of the UK’s most exciting modern rock prospects.
